Harpreet K. Sandhu received her Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California at Davis and graduated in the top 10% of her class at John F. Kennedy University – College of Law.
She graduated from law school in May 2012 and was admitted to practice law in California on December 5, 2012. Presently, she is a solo practitioner sharpening her legal skills in the areas of contracts, business associations, and family law.
While in law school, Harpreet had several internships. She interned at the JFKU Housing Advocacy Clinic which partners with Northern California’s largest legal aid provider, Bay Area Legal Aid in an effort to provide quality legal services to low-income tenants in the San Francisco Bay Area and other disadvantaged and under-served groups. Furthermore, she interned for Pamela Zimba, a family law attorney in Benicia, CA, as well as, for the Contra Costa Bar Bankruptcy Clinic.
Harpreet is dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence. She plans to utilize her legal knowledge to assist victims of domestic violence navigate the legal system in an effort to attain justice and to provide each victim an opportunity to create a safe environment in which they can thrive.
In her spare time, Harpreet enjoys leading an active lifestyle. In addition, she is passionate about traveling and learning in depth about world cultures. She had the unique pleasure of living in Punjab and Brazil and she is fluent in Punjabi, and has a working knowledge of Hindi and Urdu. In addition, she is in the process of taking up the challenge of becoming proficient in Brazilian Portuguese.
